PsAP（Prostatic specific Acid Phosphatase）是由前列腺上皮細胞分泌的一種酸性磷酸酶的同工酶，在正常前列腺、增生的前列腺組織和前列腺癌中均表達PSAP。此抗體主要用于前列腺癌和轉移性前列腺癌的研究，但不能作為良、惡性前列腺疾病的研究。

John Cooke教授表示，據我們所知，本文研究是*利用小分子和蛋白來完成治療細胞類型的分化轉移，在特殊情況下我們就可以將成纖維細胞轉化成為所需的細胞類型。文章中研究者首先將成纖維細胞暴露于多聚胞苷酸(polyinosinic-polycytidylic acid，poly I：C)中，雙鏈RNA分子的一小部分會結合宿主細胞的TLR3(toll樣受體3)來“哄騙”細胞好像針對病毒攻擊那樣產生反應;在2012年發表在Cell上的一篇研究文章中，Cooke教授就揭示了成纖維細胞對病毒攻擊的反應，在利用poly I：C處理成纖維細胞后，研究者觀察到了細胞核染色質的重新組裝，這種組裝可以使得之前關閉的基因重新表達，隨后利用諸如VEGF等因子對成纖維細胞進行處理，就可以將少量分化的細胞轉化成為內皮細胞。
